Scotia-Glenville is hiring a School Business Administrator/Manager The School Business Manager is a senior leadership position responsible for the financial and operational management of the District. This role ensures that all fiscal, business, and support functions operate efficiently, comply with State and Federal requirements, and align with the District’s mission. The Business Manager works closely with the Superintendent and administrative team to provide strategic financial guidance, long-term planning, and operational oversight. This position falls within Managerial/Confidential classification. Salary and Benefits: This is a non-represented/confidential position. A regionally competitive salary and benefit package will be offered based upon qualifications and experience. Preferred Qualifications: Successful experience in school district finance, business operations, knowledge of and experience in budgeting and personnel supervision. Required Qualifications: Certification via NYS Education Department: Candidates must hold NYS certification as a School Business Official (SDA, SBA or SBO) at the time of appointment or be eligible for initial certification at time of application. OR Certification via New York State Civil Service: Graduation from a regionally accredited or NYS registered college or university with a master’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Business Management, or closely related field, and two (2) years of business administration or accounting experience which shall have included the supervision of others, one year of which must have been in a public education setting; OR Graduation from a regionally accredited or NYS registered college or university with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, School or Public Administration, or closely related field and 4 years’ experience as defined by the limits above, two (2) years of which must be in a public education setting.
