The Floral Park-Bellerose School District, an elementary district in western Nassau County has openings for Special Education Teachers in our Extended School Year program. Appropriate NYS Education Dept. certification in Special Education K-6 or Students with Disabilities is required. Must be driven, organized and have the ability to positively manage students; extensive knowledge of instructional approaches for students with autism, emotional/behavioral disorders and/or multiple disabilities. The program runs Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. - noon for six weeks from July 1 - August 9, 2024. Rate is $48.00/hr.Please apply via OLAS only.
